The Constitution

The Constitution sets out the aims of the Monmouth Community Choir and how we organise ourselves in pursuing them.

One of the points in the Constitution says that it must be established with the approval of at least three-quarters of those present at the first AGM. We found that having a Constitution was necessary to apply for funding from various sources, before we had had the opportunity to hold an AGM, so the current Constitution was adopted by unanimous agreement of the Committee in October 2019. It is still subject to confirmation at the first AGM.
