We are led by Musical Director Caractacus Downes and we sing a wide range of repertoire (Bowie, White Stripes, Joni Mitchell, Oasis, Medieval Latin, Lou Reed, Coldplay, The Pogues, Madness, Yazoo …) and we take requests!
Singing is so good for you. It releases endorphins, serotonin and oxytocin, which alleviate anxiety and stress, promote feelings of trust, bonding and togetherness and get those pleasure sensors pinging. It’s also good excercise, giving your lungs, heart and circulation a good work out.
So come and join a group of like-minded people and have some fun – only enthusiasm and susceptibility to goose-bumps required!
